The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica stands out as a family minivan that already felt well equipped and thoughtfully designed from the start. It came with standard seven-passenger seating, Chrysler’s Stow ’n Go second-row seats, and a third-row seat that folded with a 60/40 split, giving it the kind of flexibility buyers expect from a minivan. Even the base model included items such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED lights, a rear-view camera, heated mirrors, remote locks, push-button ignition, an eight-way power driver seat, three-zone climate control, a five-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB, and an auxiliary input. With all the seats folded into the floor, Chrysler said the cargo area could swallow a 4x8 sheet of drywall or plywood.
What makes the 2018 Pacifica especially appealing is how much equipment it offered beyond the basics. Touring models added power sliding doors, keyless entry, rear parking sensors, and SiriusXM satellite radio, while Touring-L versions brought leather seating surfaces, automatic three-zone climate control, heated front seats, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Higher trims added even more comfort and convenience, including a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, a power front passenger seat, an upgraded 8.4-inch touchscreen, a better audio system, a power liftgate, and a second-row rear-seat entertainment system. At the top of the range, the Limited included panoramic sunroofs, ventilated leather seats with memory functions, a power-folding third row, and an integrated vacuum system called Stow ’n Vac.
The 2018 model also benefited from updates that broadened its appeal. That year, Chrysler added a new entry-level L model and upgraded the infotainment system to include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Buyers could also choose the Pacifica Hybrid, though it did not offer Stow ’n Go seats because of the battery placement under the floor. The main tradeoffs are worth noting: the hybrid has fewer storage options, all-wheel drive was not available with it, and some owners have raised concerns about transmission reliability. I think it’s a great family vehicle, it has entertainment for the kids in the back, a sunroof for those days I want a nice breeze, CarPlay for when I want to play some of my favorite songs, and a built-in vacuum for when the kids make a mess and I can clean up with ease. This is my actual first vehicle so there’s no other models I personally can compare it.

I have had my Pacifica for a week now. I have always had a Chrysler mini van. I wanted to switch to the Toyota Sienna but those are ridiculously high and all the seats dont go down.
