Used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid for Sale near Texas

How much does the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 12.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 139 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid a good car?

Generally — the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earns a 4.3/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall ownership and test-drive impression. The model scores 8/10 across Cost effectiveness and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the luxury features, technology, leather seating, practicality, and eco-friendly performance. For family use, the Pacifica Hybrid’s comfort-and-efficiency mix stands out, especially if you want a minivan that feels more upscale than basic transportation.

Chrysler’s use-case here is clear: you get family-hauling practicality with a more efficiency-minded twist, plus a stronger tech story even at the entry level. The market also shows 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which supports the value case.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as practical, comfortable, and efficient, and the feedback points to a vehicle many families can count on for everyday use. The hybrid powertrain is presented as a dependable way to add eco-friendly performance to minivan duty, with the added benefit of strong technology and luxury features.

The expert drive notes also emphasize that the powertrain inserts itself with relative grace and delivers immediate power from the dual electric motors. Chrysler’s first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that hybrid-specific complexity and recall-related concerns can make condition and service history more important than they would be on a simpler minivan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a documented ownership record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the hybrid system, braking feel, and overall condition, since the battery pack and added weight can affect how the vehicle behaves over time. You should also pay close attention to seating and cargo usability, especially if you plan to rely on the second row and family-hauling flexibility.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring Plus starts with 3-zone auto climate control, auto headlights, LED taillights, heated mirrors, keyless entry and ignition, power front seats, power sliding doors, a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, and a 6-speaker stereo with HD and satellite radio, Bluetooth, voice commands, USB, and an auxiliary jack. Touring L adds a power liftgate, remote engine start, heated front seats, window shades for the second and third rows, roof rails, an upgraded center console, and leather. Limited adds hands-free sliding doors and liftgate operation, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, auto high beams and wipers, better leather, rear USB ports, and a conventional outlet.
• Powertrain: The hybrid uses a modified 3.6-liter V6 with dual electric motors and a CVT, tuned for efficiency with 260 horsepower. It can travel more than 30 miles on electric power with a full charge, and the 6.6kW onboard charger takes 14 hours on a standard outlet or about two hours on a 240-volt outlet.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear-view camera, and rear parking sensors. The Limited adds adaptive cruise control with full stop-and-go capability, front parking sensors, lane-departure warning and intervention, and forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking. The Advanced SafetyTec Group adds adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning and auto brake, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and automated parallel- and perpendicular-parking assistance.
• Infotainment: The updated Uconnect system includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Higher trims can add navigation, 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, and a rear-seat entertainment system; the Limited gets dual seatback screens, a Blu-ray player, and wireless streaming for Android devices.
• Fuel efficiency: The powertrain is described as capable of more than 30 miles of electric-only driving, and the gasoline-only operation is estimated at a combined 32 mpg. Real-world testing in the source material returned around 21 mpg.

Which 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is offered in 3 trim levels: Touring Plus, Touring L, Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Touring Plus: This is the best-value starting point if you want the core hybrid experience without moving up the ladder. You get the updated Uconnect system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, and a solid set of comfort features.
• Touring L: This is the trim to target if you want a more family-friendly setup with leather, heated front seats, a power liftgate, remote start, and window shades for the second and third rows. It adds meaningful convenience without jumping all the way to the top.
• Limited: This is the luxury-and-tech choice, with the 20-speaker Harman Kardon stereo, dual seatback screens, Blu-ray player, wireless Android streaming, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and hands-free sliding doors and liftgate operation.

The Limited also offers the Advanced SafetyTec Group, which adds adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning and auto brake, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and automated parking assistance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful deal availability and a price trend that favors shoppers.

• Deal availability: 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 139 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,791, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $15,791 sits slightly below last year's $17,987.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right number today. If you shop carefully and avoid overpaying, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss when it comes time to sell.

Demand should also benefit from the model’s strong owner satisfaction and family-friendly appeal. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid safe?

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earns Good ratings from IIHS in most tests, with Acceptable results in the small overlap front passenger-side test and headlight test on lower trims, and a Marginal rating for child-seat anchor ease of use. It also earns five-star ratings in every NHTSA category except rollover, where it earns a four-star rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear-view camera, and rear parking sensors. Higher trims add adaptive cruise control with full stop-and-go capability, front parking sensors, lane-departure warning and intervention, and forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking.

One caveat for used buyers is that the hybrid battery adds weight, which can increase braking distances and make brake condition worth checking carefully during a test drive.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 40.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Chrysler made the Touring Plus the new entry trim for the Hybrid, adding standard blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, tech, and family practicality, the 2018 is the one to focus on. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you can still shop carefully within this year’s market and target the lower end of the range, but the 2018’s equipment and deal availability make it the better all-around path for most used buyers.

How does the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid compare to the 2018 Toyota Sienna?

Our experts score the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid 7/10 and the 2018 Toyota Sienna 7.2/10.

The Pacifica Hybrid is the more efficiency-focused choice, with a plug-in hybrid setup and much stronger city fuel economy. The Sienna counters with a stronger conventional V6 and a lower starting MSRP, while also offering more listings in the market. If you want the newer-tech, hybrid-first approach, the Pacifica Hybrid makes sense; if you want broader availability and a lower entry price, the Sienna is the easier shopping target.
