Used 2018 Chrysler 300 for Sale nearBirmingham, AL

How much does the 2018 Chrysler 300 cost?

Prices have softened 4.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 719 listings available, which suggests a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, comfort, and spacious interior, and many also like the quality features and available all-wheel drive for snowy conditions. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy full-size sedan with a relaxed, upscale personality rather than a sporty one. With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights dependable comfort, with drivers repeatedly calling out the spacious cabin and the car’s ability to handle everyday use well. That said, some owners mention infotainment issues, so you should pay close attention to electronics and system behavior during a test drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core sedan formula and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained and functions properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chrysler 300?

At 53.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report to confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you go any further. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention on bodywork quality, alignment, and any signs of prior repair. It also makes sense to focus on cabin condition and infotainment operation, since those are the kinds of issues owners have called out.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 719 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,778, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $14,938 sits slightly below last year's $15,573.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help limit how much value you lose after purchase. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned than a shopper paying closer to the top of the range. Demand should remain supported by the model’s comfort, space, and upscale appeal, especially among buyers looking for a large sedan with a traditional feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $13,788, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $14,938 average.
• It offers a bold, luxurious large-sedan feel with plenty of power.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, satisfaction, and inventory. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2017 is the better value play, especially if you find one in clean condition with the features you want.
