Is the 2019 Chrysler 300 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Chrysler 300 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2019 Chrysler 300 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centered on the car’s smooth ride, strong engines, and overall value. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger risk is less about the model’s core character and more about finding a well-kept example with consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Chrysler 300?

At 53.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially for body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear or poor repair work. Because this is a large sedan with a long service life, condition matters more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chrysler 300?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 628 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,409, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chrysler 300's resale value?

The current average of $15,409 sits slightly below last year's $17,138.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. The 300’s broad appeal as a comfortable, roomy sedan should still support demand among shoppers looking for a traditional full-size car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chrysler 300 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current inventory among nearby years. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also consider adjacent model years, but the 2019 stands out as a sensible target when you want a roomy, comfortable sedan without overpaying.
