How much does the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro cost?

Prices are up 3.14% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,318 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and trims.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its stunning design, excellent performance, and great handling. The broad range of engines and the coupe and convertible body styles make it appealing whether you want a daily driver or something with a more focused performance edge. With 32.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with many drivers describing the car as trouble-free and worth counting on over time. That said, used buyers should still think carefully about maintenance history and any signs of wear, because long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Chevrolet Camaro?

At 56.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage affected structural areas or safety systems. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of water intrusion or electrical issues. It also helps to prioritize interior condition, since cabin wear and visibility-related complaints can matter more in daily use than they do on a test drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Chevrolet Camaro?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,318 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.14% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 56.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,674, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $28,993 sits slightly above last year's $28,110.

That upward move suggests the Camaro has held buyer interest well, which can help support resale value if you buy a clean example. Strong demand tends to favor cars with broad appeal, and this model year’s mix of performance, styling, and trim variety helps keep it relevant in the used market. If you maintain it carefully and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.14% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $23,597, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $28,993 average.
• It delivers a more old-school muscle-car personality with a vivid, high-energy driving feel.

The 2018 is the better pick if you want the stronger all-around balance of satisfaction, market support, and modern appeal. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2017 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the Camaro experience.
