Is the 2018 Audi Q3 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi Q3 earns a 4.83/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, safety features, stylish design, good sound system, and high-tech features. Is the 2018 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with comfort and quality standing out over time. That kind of response suggests the Q3 can be a sensible used buy if you want a luxury SUV you can count on for regular driving. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about satisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi Q3?

At 62.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past issues that photos may not show. It also makes sense to focus on interior condition and feature operation, because this model year is often shopped for comfort and convenience equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 590 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,769, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $13,812 sits slightly below last year's $15,157.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term appreciation if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid examples with prior damage, you improve your odds of holding value better than the average listing. A well-kept Q3 with the right features should remain appealing to shoppers who want a compact luxury SUV with a refined feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,817, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $13,812 average.
• It brings a larger, more modern-feeling cabin with improved everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2018 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and meaningful deal availability. If you can stretch your budget and want the newer-generation feel, the 2019 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize a more modern cabin and broader usability.
