There are 615 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Q3s to compare.

Is the 2018 Audi Q3 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi Q3 earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, safety features, stylish design, good sound system, and high-tech features. That lines up well with its role as a small luxury SUV that leans toward comfort and refinement, especially if you want an upscale daily driver rather than a sporty crossover. If you value a refined interior and an easygoing character, this model year fits that use case well.

32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort, safety, and everyday usability. That kind of response suggests the Q3 can be a reassuring choice if you want a small luxury SUV you can count on over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the rating and more about finding a well-kept example with clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi Q3?

At 62% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch bodywork, alignment, or wear issues that may not show up in photos. Focus closely on overall condition, since accident history can affect both long-term ownership confidence and resale value. It also makes sense to compare trim equipment carefully, because some comfort and convenience features were optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi Q3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 615 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,653, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $13,653 sits slightly below last year's $14,930.

That softer pricing suggests the Q3 has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if the market stays soft. A well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should still stand out better than a rougher one, especially in a segment where condition matters a lot. If you buy carefully now, you improve your odds of holding value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,559, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $13,653 average.
• It feels larger and brings a more compelling mix of space and technology.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the lower entry price and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition and history. If you can stretch your budget, the 2019 is the better secondary path for buyers who want a newer-feeling package and are willing to pay more for it.
