How much does the 2018 Acura RDX cost?

There are 1,054 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 4.86/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the comfortable ride, luxurious interior, and strong performance, and many also appreciate the advanced features available on this model. For you, that makes the 2018 RDX a compelling used luxury crossover if you want comfort, space, and a well-equipped cabin rather than a sport-focused SUV. With 37.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2018 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers describing it as a vehicle they’re happy to live with over time. That kind of confidence matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for daily driving and longer ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core ownership experience and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Acura RDX?

At 67.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, signs of past repairs, and whether the vehicle’s features and equipment all work as expected.

What is the 2018 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $17,528 sits slightly below last year's $18,043.

That softer pricing suggests the model is currently more buyer-friendly than seller-friendly, which can matter if you plan to trade in or resell soon. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong demand for well-kept examples can still help support future value, especially when the vehicle has a good reputation with owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $22,625, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $17,528 average.
• It brings a full redesign with a more upscale, competitive feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2018 is the smarter starting point because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a lower average price. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer redesign and a more premium-feeling package, the 2019 is the better secondary path.
