Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Acura ILX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 301 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.1% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2018 Acura ILX's resale value?

The current average of $14,927 sits slightly below last year's $16,332.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays steady. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more because buyers tend to reward clean history and well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Acura ILX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current value and owner satisfaction, the 2018 is the primary year to target. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep comparing listings carefully and prioritize the cleanest, best-documented example you can find, since condition and history will matter more than small differences in asking price.
