Used 2017 Nissan Murano for Sale near Texas

How much does the 2017 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 12.46% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,261 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2017 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxurious feel, numerous features, and stylish design, and many also appreciate the comfort and power, especially in higher trims. That lines up well if you want a midsize SUV that leans toward comfort, style, and a more premium-feeling cabin rather than rugged utility. With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, especially when they value comfort and features over hard-edged utility. Some shoppers do mention reliability concerns, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a well-equipped example that has been maintained inconsistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Nissan Murano?

At 64.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you commit. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of body panels, paint consistency, tires, and suspension feel, since condition can vary widely from one listing to another. You should also focus on overall maintenance quality and interior wear, because a comfort-oriented SUV like this is best when it has been cared for consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Nissan Murano?

If you find a listing below $12,776, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $12,776 sits slightly below last year's $14,596.

That price movement suggests the Murano has softened enough to give buyers more negotiating room today, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s comfort-focused appeal and broad shopper interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $11,785, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $12,776 average.
• It emphasizes bold styling and strong visual character.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced buy, the 2017 is the stronger primary choice because it combines a lower current market price, solid deal availability, and strong owner satisfaction. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2016 is the better secondary path, especially if you value style and can accept an older-feeling overall package.
