What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Nissan 370Z?

At 51.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch signs of past damage, poor repairs, or wear that may not show up in photos. Focus especially on body condition, panel alignment, and how the car drives, since a sports car like this can hide hard use better than a typical commuter. If you find a clean, well-documented example, it is worth paying close attention to maintenance records and overall cosmetic condition.

• Deal availability: 22.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.83% compared with last year.

The current average of $22,665 sits slightly below last year's $23,327.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a clean example at a sensible price so you have less depreciation left to absorb. Strong condition and documented care matter more here because enthusiast cars tend to reward well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
