Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS for Sale near Arkansas

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS cost?

Prices have softened 8.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 689 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS earns a 4.61/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its impressive power, comfort, and engineering quality, and they also highlight its smooth performance and stylish design. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a large three-row luxury SUV with a premium feel and family-friendly practicality. The market also shows 34.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.61/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centered on engineering quality and the kind of long-term confidence buyers want in a luxury SUV. That said, used luxury vehicles can carry higher ownership risk over time, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of bodywork, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Because this is a large luxury SUV, you should focus on overall condition and service records rather than price alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 689 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,042, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS's resale value?

The current average of $18,042 sits slightly below last year's $19,629.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and stay current on maintenance, you can help protect its value better than a neglected example. Strong demand for well-kept luxury SUVs can still support resale, especially when buyers see a desirable trim and a clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.61/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.61/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2017 is a sensible primary target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby model years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
