Used 2017 Lexus GX for Sale nearLas Vegas, NV

How much does the 2017 Lexus GX cost?

Prices have softened 2.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 491 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Lexus GX a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Lexus GX earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, off-road capability, spaciousness, comfortable and smooth ride, and reliable, robust nature. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a premium SUV that can handle rougher terrain without giving up everyday comfort. With 38.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a compelling price.

Is the 2017 Lexus GX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights its reliable and robust nature, along with a reputation for durability. That combination suggests you can approach used ownership with more confidence than you might with a less proven luxury SUV. Even so, a used example can still carry age-related wear, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lexus GX?

At 57% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report first so you can separate clean examples from those with past damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of repair quality, and overall mechanical wear. Because this model is now older, you should pay close attention to how well the interior, electronics, and suspension have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lexus GX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 491 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,814, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lexus GX's resale value?

The current average of $26,605 sits slightly below last year's $27,283.

That tells you the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing trend suggests you should focus on buying well and keeping the vehicle in excellent condition. A clean history and strong maintenance records should matter more if you want to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lexus GX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market flexibility, the 2017 is the one to target first. If you're especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2017's stronger market position and owner approval.
