Used 2017 Lexus GS for Sale nearBirmingham, AL

How much does the 2017 Lexus GS cost?

Prices have softened 2.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 172 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Lexus GS a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

That level of feedback, paired with 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, gives you a reasonable mix of shopper appeal and market value.

Is the 2017 Lexus GS reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that points to lower perceived ownership risk, but you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lexus GS?

At 52.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate and prioritize listings with clear records and consistent service documentation. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful here, since condition and repair quality matter more when a car has prior damage in its history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lexus GS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 172 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,901, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lexus GS's resale value?

The current average of $23,470 sits slightly below last year's $24,112.

That suggests the market has eased a bit, which can matter if you're planning to sell later because today's purchase price helps shape tomorrow's resale expectations. If you buy near the lower end of the range, you may give yourself a better cushion against future depreciation. Strong demand can still support resale, especially when shoppers see a model as well liked by owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lexus GS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want a used Lexus GS with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has softened a bit, the 2017 is a sensible primary choice. If you're especially price-sensitive, focus on the listings at the lower end of the range and compare them carefully against nearby years to see whether a better deal is available elsewhere.
