Used 2017 Jaguar F-PACE for Sale nearMilwaukee, WI

How much does the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE cost?

Prices have softened 14.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 337 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Owners consistently praise the sporty driving experience, powerful performance, and spacious interior. They also highlight the luxury feel and craftsmanship, which lines up with the F-PACE’s use-case as a style-forward SUV that still aims to deliver real driving enjoyment.

There are some tradeoffs in the owner feedback, including the absence of automatic start features and a sound system that does not fully match the rest of the vehicle’s premium character. Even so, the combination of style, performance, and value makes it appealing if you want a luxury SUV that feels distinctive rather than generic.

33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a vehicle that feels sporty, powerful, and spacious while also delivering a luxury feel and excellent craftsmanship. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on the F-PACE to make a strong impression over time, especially if you value driving enjoyment and cabin quality.

The expert drive notes also emphasize that Jaguar built this SUV to feel engaging and well-sorted, with a strong value proposition for the segment. On the ownership side, the included scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance for the warranty period help reduce early ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the core character of the vehicle and more about whether a specific example has been maintained carefully and kept free of unresolved issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Jaguar F-PACE?

At 71.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident history or unusually low pricing. Focus on condition details that matter in a luxury SUV: interior wear, electronics behavior, and signs that the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim uses Luxtec rather than leather, and it also lacks some of the richer cabin touches found higher up the range. Higher trims add more upscale materials and equipment, but you should compare them carefully because the entry-level version leaves some obvious comfort and finish gaps.
• Powertrain: The gas model uses a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, with the S tune increasing output from 340 horsepower to 380 and torque from 332 pound-feet to 339. The driving character is quick and engaging, but the ride can feel stiff, especially with larger wheels.
• Safety package: Available driver assists include forward-collision alert, auto braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, an attention monitor, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, and blind-spot alert. Lower trims offer only a few of these features, and the backup camera is standard on all but the base trim.
• Infotainment: The standard system uses a 5-inch central display, while the available InControl Touch Pro brings a 10.2-inch widescreen setup and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. Wireless smartphone integration is not mentioned, and the system’s software can be buggy, so test every function before you buy.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2017 Jaguar F-PACE trim should I buy?

The 2017 Jaguar F-PACE is offered in 5 trim levels: Base, Premium, Prestige, R-Sport, S.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it comes with the fewest comfort and convenience features. It makes sense only if you want the lowest price and are willing to give up some equipment.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more of the upscale feel you expect from the F-PACE without pushing you into the highest price brackets. It’s the trim that best balances cost and everyday livability.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want a more luxury-focused setup and are willing to pay for a richer cabin experience.
• R-Sport: This is the pick if you want a sportier look and a more aggressive personality without going all the way to the top trim.
• S: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the strongest gas V6 tune and the most aggressive overall setup. It’s the right call if you care most about power and driving feel.

The safety package is spread across trims and option groups, so make sure the specific vehicle you’re considering has the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Jaguar F-PACE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 337 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,756, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE's resale value?

The current average of $13,815 sits slightly below last year's $16,217.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less favorable if you plan to sell soon. If you own one, the softer pricing means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment.

Well-kept examples with desirable trim and strong presentation should hold up better than average because shoppers still respond to the F-PACE’s style and premium feel. If you’re buying with resale in mind, choosing a clean, well-equipped example gives you the best chance of protecting value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

A suite of driver assists is available, including forward-collision alert, auto braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, an attention monitor that tries to detect driver fatigue, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. The blind-spot alert is a standout because it flashes rapidly when it detects a fast-approaching vehicle on either side.

There are a few caveats to keep in mind. Knee airbags for front passengers are not offered, and the backup camera is standard on all but the base trim. The 360-degree camera system can also be individually selected, which is useful if you’re trying to avoid curb damage on larger wheels.

Should I buy a 2017 Jaguar F-PACE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It stands out as Jaguar’s first SUV, and the expert verdict emphasizes style, performance, and value.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive version of the F-PACE story, the 2017 model is the one to focus on because it combines strong owner satisfaction, a lower average price, and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye out for listings near the low end of the range and prioritize clean history and the right equipment over chasing the cheapest example.
