How much does the 2017 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 3.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,433 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 4.52/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth driving experience, great fuel economy, and stylish design, while also valuing the comfortable interior and everyday practicality. That makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy midsize sedan that works well as a family car and still feels pleasant to drive. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing.

Is the 2017 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.52/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights reliability, dependable transportation, and a car that owners feel good about keeping over time. That combination suggests the Accord is the kind of used sedan you can count on for steady ownership rather than constant attention. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Honda Accord?

At 48.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, maintenance evidence, and signs of repair quality rather than relying on mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,433 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 48.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,981, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $15,325 sits slightly below last year's $15,857.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale gains may be more gradual if the market stays steady. If you plan to sell later, condition and maintenance history will matter a lot because buyers tend to reward clean, well-kept examples. A well-priced purchase today gives you a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure over your ownership period.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.52/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.52/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,248, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $15,325 average.
• It offers improved value with a few meaningful updates over the prior year.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,896, the 2018 costs more than the current year's $15,325 average.
• It brings a fresh foundation and a more engaging driving character.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced sedan with strong owner approval and a reasonable market price. If your priority is spending less, the 2016 is the smarter value play; if you want a newer-feeling Accord and can stretch your budget, the 2018 is the more premium alternative.
