Used 2017 GMC Yukon for Sale nearEl Paso, TX

How much does the 2017 GMC Yukon cost?

Prices have softened 8.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,600 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2017 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 2017 GMC Yukon earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, strong performance, and luxurious features, and many also see it as a good value compared with competitors. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a large family hauler with a roomy cabin and a premium feel. With 34.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise centered on the vehicle’s spacious interior, strong performance, and overall value. That kind of repeat satisfaction usually suggests you can count on the Yukon to deliver the core experience buyers want over time. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about sentiment and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 GMC Yukon?

At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear in the cabin, suspension, and other high-use areas. Because this model is often bought as a family hauler, focus on overall condition and maintenance quality rather than just mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,600 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,570, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $21,570 sits slightly below last year's $23,510.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the key is to buy a clean, well-maintained example at a competitive price so you have less depreciation to absorb later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is the better path if you want a well-liked full-size SUV and you can verify condition carefully before buying. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2017 stands out when you want a strong mix of owner satisfaction and current market value.

How does the 2017 GMC Yukon compare to the 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe?

The Yukon costs more on the used market, but it also shows a slightly stronger share of good or great deals and a higher accident-free rate. The Tahoe gives you more listings and a lower average used price, so it may be the better fit if you want more inventory and a lower entry point. If you value a somewhat cleaner listing pool and are willing to pay a bit more, the Yukon has the edge.
