How much does the 2017 Buick Envision cost?

Is the 2017 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Buick Envision earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, and stylish design, and they also appreciate its luxurious features and overall reliability. For you, that makes it a good fit if you want a quiet, well-equipped compact SUV with a more upscale feel than a typical mainstream crossover. Is the 2017 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights reliability, with many drivers describing the vehicle as dependable and trouble-free over time. That kind of response suggests the Envision can be a sensible used buy if you want something you can count on for regular ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained well and has a clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Buick Envision?

At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of past bodywork, uneven panel gaps, or wear that doesn’t match the mileage. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition inside and out, since a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the comfort and refinement this model is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 347 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,094, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $13,380 sits slightly below last year's $14,394.

That softer pricing suggests the model has moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its market cycle, which can make future resale a little more sensitive to condition and mileage. If you buy one now, preserving value will depend heavily on choosing a clean example and keeping it well maintained. A lower entry price can help offset some depreciation, but the best-kept vehicles will still be the easiest to resell later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfortable, well-equipped compact SUV and you find a clean 2017 example at a strong price, this model year makes sense as the primary choice. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market and compare condition closely, because the best value will come from the cleanest, best-maintained listing rather than the cheapest one.
