How much does the 2017 Audi Q3 cost?

There are 712 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Audi Q3 a good car?

Generally — the 4/5 user rating points to a solid ownership experience for this model year. The 2017 Q3 stands out as a small luxury SUV that blends comfort, refinement, and everyday usability, with a softer suspension that makes it more comfortable than sporty. It also feels upscale without becoming overly complicated, thanks to a well-rounded equipment mix and a practical entry point into Audi’s SUV lineup.

That said, you should weigh its strengths against its limits: fuel economy is subpar, early generations lacked performance, and some rivals offer more rear-seat space. With 36.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Audi Q3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2017 Q3’s appeal comes from its comfortable, quiet cabin and refined interior, which suggest a vehicle built to deliver a polished daily-driving experience. Its familiar turbocharged four-cylinder setup and six-speed automatic are straightforward, and the model’s overall packaging emphasizes usability over complexity.

For used buyers, that usually means lower drama than a more complicated luxury SUV, but you should still expect ownership costs and maintenance to matter over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Audi Q3?

At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with collision records. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on suspension, brakes, and any signs of uneven wear that could point to past damage or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition and documentation, because a well-kept Q3 is more likely to deliver the comfort and refinement this model year is known for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Audi Q3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 712 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,926, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Audi Q3's resale value?

The current average of $12,225 sits slightly below last year's $13,462.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, condition and documentation matter even more when the market is softening, because well-kept examples tend to stand out more clearly. A clean, well-maintained Q3 should be easier to move later than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 36.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $11,505, the 2016 costs less than the current year's $12,225 average.
• It offers a more affordable Audi entry point with a premium feel and compact size.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping opportunity, the 2017 is the stronger pick because it combines a softer price trend with decent deal availability and a solid satisfaction signal. If your priority is keeping the purchase price as low as possible, the 2016 is the better value path, especially if you find one in strong condition.
