There are 196 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the overview backs that up with a practical midsize sedan that emphasizes comfort, ease of ownership, and straightforward usability. You get a roomy, user-friendly interior, good fuel economy, and a hybrid setup that prioritizes smooth, low-stress driving over excitement. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a calm commuter or family sedan that is easy to live with. 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes it as a model with a generally strong reliability record, and it also notes that Toyota’s hybrid know-how is part of its appeal. At the same time, the car’s early versions had some reliability concerns, so you should treat condition and maintenance history as important parts of your decision. For a used buyer, that means the long-term ownership risk is manageable if you verify the car carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid?

At 49% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to overall condition, signs of prior repair, and how well the hybrid system and cabin equipment have been maintained. Because this model is valued for comfort and ease of ownership, you’ll want to focus on examples that still feel well-kept rather than simply chasing the lowest price.

If you find a listing below $13,937, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $14,903 sits slightly below last year's $14,991.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate what your car may be worth down the road, especially if you keep mileage, condition, and maintenance in good shape. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 49% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want a practical, comfortable hybrid sedan with steady pricing and strong owner approval. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years for a lower entry point, but the 2016 remains a sensible primary target when you want a balanced mix of value, usability, and market stability.
