Why it stands out
The 2016 Porsche Panamera stands out because it marked the arrival of the second-generation car, which was described as sleeker and sportier while keeping much of the practicality of the original. It looked more coupe-like and better resolved, yet still offered generous passenger space, a more minimalist and modern interior, and large infotainment/display screens. The Panamera’s strengths come with a premium price, and while the second-generation design was much better received than the first, it was still a large, luxury-focused performance car rather than a simple sports sedan. Even so, for buyers who want a used Porsche that combines speed, refinement, and everyday usability, the 2016 Panamera is distinctive for how successfully it balances those traits.
