How much does the 2016 Nissan Titan cost?

There are 750 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan a good car?

With a user rating of 3.3/5, the 2016 Nissan Titan looks like a mixed but workable choice if you want a full-size truck with a simpler lineup. The overview points to a standard V8, off-road capability, a comfortable interior, Bluetooth phone connectivity, air conditioning, back-up cameras, and useful cargo-management features, so it has practical strengths that matter in daily use. At the same time, its limited configurability, poor ride quality, and plasticky interior materials may matter if you want a more polished or customizable truck. There are 32.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, which suggests you can still find attractive examples if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan reliable?

The 2016 Nissan Titan is described as having a decent reputation for reliability, which supports its appeal as a used full-size truck. The overview also frames it as a straightforward model with a strong engine and a simpler lineup, which can be appealing if you want fewer complications in ownership. For long-term used ownership, you should still expect truck-level wear items and verify maintenance history carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on the body, frame, suspension, and cargo-bed areas, since those are the places where past use and repairs can show up most clearly. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a clean, well-kept truck is likely to be the better buy than a cheaper example with uncertain history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 750 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,950, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $19,950 sits slightly below last year's $21,946.

That price movement suggests the Titan has softened enough to help you buy in at a more favorable point than a year ago. If you plan to resell later, the current market gives you a lower entry cost, but it also means you should be realistic about how much value the truck may retain. A well-kept example with strong history and condition should be easier to move than one with accident records or visible wear.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.09% compared with last year.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $19,306, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $19,950 average.
• It brings a redesigned truck with stronger everyday appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year Titan and find a clean, well-priced example, the 2016 can make sense. If you are price-sensitive, the 2017 is worth a close look because it costs less on average and adds a more compelling redesign story.
