Is the 2016 INFINITI QX60 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction with this model year. The 2016 INFINITI QX60 is built around space, comfort, and family-friendly practicality, with a cabin designed to feel roomy and easy to use in real-world situations. Is the 2016 INFINITI QX60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 INFINITI QX60 is described as a comfort-focused luxury SUV with useful technology and a well-equipped interior, but it is not presented as the most engaging vehicle to drive. The CVT is a known weak point in this generation, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and how the transmission behaves on a test drive. For long-term ownership, that makes condition and maintenance history especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on the transmission, since the CVT is a known concern in this generation, and make sure the vehicle drives smoothly under different speeds and loads. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear in the cabin and suspension, since this model’s value comes from comfort and family usability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,878, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $10,946 sits slightly below last year's $11,362.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale a little more challenging if you overpay today. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later. The model’s broad appeal as a roomy, comfortable three-row SUV should still support demand among shoppers looking for practical luxury.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $9,569, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $10,946 average.
• It offers a stylish cabin with upscale materials.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,886, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $10,946 average.
• It adds roomy luxury with a surprisingly nimble driving feel.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-equipped, spacious luxury SUV at a softened market price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2015 is the better value play, while the 2017 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer model-year alternative.
