Is the 2016 INFINITI QX60 a good car?

Yes — the 2016 INFINITI QX60 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a three-row luxury SUV focused on space, comfort, and family-friendly practicality, with a cabin designed for easy third-row access and a long list of standard equipment. Is the 2016 INFINITI QX60 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also highlights a comfort- and practicality-first design, plus a feature set that was generous for the money when new. The main used-buyer concern is the CVT, so long-term ownership risk is best managed by checking service history closely and prioritizing a thorough pre-purchase inspection.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 INFINITI QX60?

At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether the car has accident, title, or structural damage records. Put the inspection focus on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of uneven wear, then verify that the cabin features and convenience equipment work as expected. Because this model is valued for comfort and family usability, condition matters as much as price.

What is the 2016 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $10,841 sits slightly below last year's $11,441.

That softer pricing suggests the model is in a buyer-friendly phase, which can make future resale more competitive if you buy at the right number. For you as a seller later, the key will be entering the market with a well-documented service history and clean condition, since those factors help protect value when prices are already under pressure. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $9,585, the 2015 costs less than the current year's $10,841 average.
• It offers a stylish cabin with quality materials.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $11,640, the 2017 costs more than the current year's $10,841 average.
• It adds a roomier, more nimble-feeling package.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the best primary pick if you want the strongest mix of value, equipment, and family-friendly space. If your budget is tighter, the 2015 is the better price-sensitive alternative, while the 2017 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling take on the same roomy formula.
