You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and pay close attention to prior damage, title status, and repair quality. Should I buy a 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid or consider a different year?

• At 59.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
