Why it stands out
The 2016 Ford Edge is a standout in the midsize SUV segment, combining a comfortable ride with a spacious interior, making it a popular choice for families. Its twin-turbocharged V6 engine, delivering 315 horsepower, ensures that the Edge can accelerate quickly and perform well under demanding conditions. The model has been updated with Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system, replacing the older MyFord Touch, which significantly enhances user experience through faster response times and improved functionality.
Drivers have lauded the Edge for its athletic handling, made more engaging by its sport-tuned suspension, while the available all-wheel drive adds to its versatility. The interior is designed with comfort in mind, featuring ample legroom and cargo space, making it practical for day-to-day use. However, some users have pointed out issues with road noise and minor electronic glitches that may affect long-term satisfaction. Overall, the 2016 Ford Edge offers an appealing balance of performance, comfort, and technology, making it a compelling option for buyers in the market for a midsize SUV.

Crappy car. When it was idling, the doors would shake when they were open.

Great vehicle! Only issue is that the type pressure warning light is on and will not turn off despite all four tires being perfect.

The Ford Edge I bought was the titanium trim, so its absolutely loaded with features. The biggest surprises for me was that the rear seats are heated as well, and that the leather seats are some of the comfiest non- luxury brand seats Ive sat on. The V6 also offers enough power, abs the transmission is smooth through the gears. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and the ride of this vehicle.
