Why it stands out
The 2016 Dodge Durango distinguishes itself as a strong contender among three-row crossovers, particularly for those seeking towing capacity and rear-wheel drive (RWD) capability. With its latest upgrades, especially in the R/T trim, Dodge has aimed to enhance both performance and luxury, making it an attractive option for families who do not want to sacrifice power for comfort. This year, new standards such as 20-inch wheels and heated leather seats provide a more upscale feel, while the addition of a Sport driving mode improves responsiveness during spirited driving. Notably, the Durango can tow up to 7,400 pounds with the available V8 engine, which is the highest capacity in its class, making it suitable for adventurous families with trailers or boats. Despite some drawbacks such as heavy weight affecting fuel economy, and tech safety features being placed in optional packages rather than standard offerings, the 2016 Durango's combination of rugged capability and family-friendly features makes it a noteworthy choice in the segment.

The features are GREAT !!! I am still trying to learn them all but I am having a hard time finding the power folding exterior windows. It should also have power folding rear seating. Great vehicle, the view from the driver seat is great if you are a short person.
