Used 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV cost?

There are 499 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxury, comfort, and storage space, and they also highlight the smooth ride and strong mileage on long trips. That makes it a strong fit if you want a spacious, upscale three-row SUV for family travel and luggage-hauling without giving up a premium feel. With 30.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that it feels dependable in everyday use, especially for comfort, long-distance travel, and carrying people and cargo with confidence. That said, used buyers should still think carefully about maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term ownership risk is always higher when a luxury SUV has seen heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

At 55.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, panel alignment, interior wear, and signs of heavy family or towing use. Because this is a large luxury SUV, it also makes sense to pay close attention to how well the suspension, electronics, and cabin features are holding up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it can make sense if you focus on value and condition.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $19,520, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV's resale value?

The current average of $19,520 sits slightly below last year's $23,220.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help limit near-term downside for a future seller. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. Strong demand for a large luxury SUV with a premium image can also help support future resale interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want the Escalade ESV’s space, comfort, and premium feel at a lower used price than recent years. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge.
