Used 2016 Buick Envision for Sale nearSan Francisco, CA

How much does the 2016 Buick Envision cost?

Prices have softened 14.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 276 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Buick Envision a good car?

The 2016 Buick Envision was positioned as a compact luxury SUV alternative with a strong equipment list for the time. Buick emphasized comfort and quiet refinement, and the model offered generous headroom along with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen, parking sensors, heated front seats, a power liftgate, and available advanced convenience equipment.

That makes it a sensible fit if you want a well-equipped, comfort-focused SUV rather than a flashy one. The styling was described as conservative, so if exterior design matters a lot to you, that may shape how appealing it feels.

35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2016 Buick Envision reliable?

The 2016 Buick Envision shared its chassis and powertrains with the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain, which gave it a familiar mechanical foundation. It also earned the maximum Good rating in five IIHS crash tests plus a five-star NHTSA safety rating.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about condition and maintenance history than about an unknown platform.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Buick Envision?

At 61.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for hidden bodywork, suspension issues, and signs of uneven wear. Focus on overall condition, service records, and how well the vehicle’s equipment and safety features still function.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 276 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.81% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,774, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $11,869 sits slightly below last year's $13,932.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing gives you a clearer baseline, but future value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. For a future seller, a clean history and strong service records should matter more because the model is already trading below its prior-year average.

Should I buy a 2016 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.81% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a reasonable choice if you want the lower average price and are willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the cheapest listing.
