Yes — the 2016 Buick Enclave earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, spacious interior, smooth ride, and luxury touches like leather seats. Is the 2016 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes comfort, spaciousness, and a smooth ride, which are the kinds of traits that usually support dependable everyday use over time. The repeated praise for its upscale feel and family-friendly practicality suggests you can count on it to serve as a comfortable long-term hauler. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained well and still drives as smoothly as owners expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the body, structure, and mechanical condition match the seller’s description. Focus on signs of prior repair quality, interior wear, and how smoothly the SUV drives, since comfort and refinement are core reasons to buy this model. If possible, compare several listings side by side so you can separate a clean example from one that only looks good on paper.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Buick Enclave?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 842 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,532, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $10,532 sits slightly below last year's $11,557.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit how much value you recover later if prices stay under pressure. If you plan to sell in a few years, the Enclave’s resale will likely depend on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and service history. Strong presentation matters here because buyers in this segment tend to pay more for a clean, well-kept example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want a well-liked, comfort-first three-row SUV and you can verify condition carefully. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 remains a strong choice when you find a clean, fairly priced example.
