How much does the 2016 Audi A6 cost?

Is the 2016 Audi A6 a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Audi A6 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its performance, comfort, and features, especially the handling, acceleration, and luxurious interior. It also fits well if you want a midsize luxury sedan that feels refined for long trips while still offering everyday usability. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a compelling offer.

Is the 2016 Audi A6 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a car that owners find dependable in daily use, with praise centered on comfort, performance, and the kind of ownership experience that makes it easy to count on for longer drives. The main recurring frustration is the infotainment system, not the core driving experience. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks more tied to condition and electronics than to the car’s overall appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Audi A6?

At 61.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of past repairs. Because the A6’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and technology, make sure the interior, infotainment, and driver-assistance features all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Audi A6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find value if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 514 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,758, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $12,984 sits slightly below last year's $13,720.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you plan to keep the car for a while. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and equipment than to broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the model has strong owner satisfaction and a premium reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2016 is the one to target first. It makes the most sense if you’re focused on a well-equipped luxury sedan and are willing to shop carefully for a clean example. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also use nearby model years as comparison points, but the 2016 stands out as the better balance of demand and affordability right now.
