Used 2015 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2015 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 6.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 242 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2015 Toyota Sequoia stands out as a large, truck-based family SUV with three rows of seating, available four-wheel drive, and a body-on-frame design that gives it a rugged, capability-first character. It also appeals if you want a roomy SUV with proven mechanicals and strong towing ability, though its size and truck-based setup mean it is not trying to be a fuel-sipping crossover. With 33.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2015 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2015 Toyota Sequoia’s appeal is rooted in Toyota’s reputation for durability, its body-on-frame construction, and its robust 5.7-liter V8. It was built for buyers who want a large SUV with proven mechanicals, three-row practicality, and the kind of rugged character that tends to age well when maintained properly. The tradeoff is that its size and heavy-duty design can mean more wear on components over time, especially in used examples that have seen hard service.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is mostly about condition and maintenance history rather than the basic concept of the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Sequoia?

At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on wear items that matter on a large, heavy SUV, especially brakes and any signs of frame rust. Pay close attention to overall condition, because a truck-based family hauler can hide hard use even when the drivetrain is fundamentally sound.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Sequoia?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 242 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,294, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $20,314 sits slightly below last year's $21,841.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also mean slower appreciation if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current trend implies you should pay close attention to mileage, condition, and service history, because well-kept examples are more likely to stand out in a market that has softened. If you buy well and maintain it properly, the Sequoia’s reputation for durability can still support demand later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a rugged, three-row SUV with strong owner satisfaction and a market that still offers some deal opportunities, the 2015 is the primary path to consider. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
