How much does the 2015 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices are up 3.07% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 1,735 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Toyota Corolla earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The Corolla is presented as dependable, sensible transportation that still tries to make everyday driving a little more enjoyable. It is also described as stylish and roomy enough to feel more distinctive than a purely utilitarian compact car, even though it does not deliver much surprise or delight.

The market shows 31.2% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corolla is described as reliable and sensible transportation, and the expert review also says it is expected to prove cheap to own and retain a big chunk of its original value over time. It is further supported by free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is finding a car that has been driven hard or poorly maintained, so condition and service history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

At 44.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows uneven wear. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs that the car has been used as a low-cost commuter rather than a carefully maintained daily driver.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base L trim is the most stripped-down version, while the LE adds more convenience and comfort features such as automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a 6-speaker sound system, and a touchscreen with a reversing camera. The LE is the best-value choice if you want the biggest jump in everyday usability without moving too far up the price ladder.
• Powertrain: All versions use a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, and most make 132 hp. The LE Eco gets a retuned version with 140 hp and better fuel economy, while the sporty S can be paired with a manual transmission.
• Safety package: Toyota does not offer advanced active safety systems here. A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above, but there is no blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning, or automatic braking.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth is standard, and the LE with the Plus Package is the minimum requirement for Toyota’s Entune App Suite. The system uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen, and the review notes that the screen controls can be small and unresponsive.
• Fuel efficiency: The Corolla is described as fuel efficient, and the test car returned 28 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The LE Eco is also described as getting better fuel economy than the standard engine setup.

Which 2015 Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco, S.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point if you want the Corolla’s core strengths at the lowest cost, but it is the most basic version and leaves out some of the convenience upgrades found higher up.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the more efficient CVT, larger wheels, automatic climate control, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a better sound system, a touchscreen, Bluetooth audio streaming, and a reversing camera.
• LE Eco: Choose this if fuel economy matters most. It adds a retuned engine with 140 hp and better efficiency, plus aerodynamic and rolling-resistance tweaks that support its economy focus.
• S: Pick this if you want the sportiest feel in the lineup. It adds unique styling touches, sportier seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode, and available manual transmission.

A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still need to move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,735 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.07% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 44.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,383, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $11,841 sits slightly above last year's $11,488.

That upward move suggests the Corolla has held demand well enough to support pricing, even as it remains an affordable compact car. For a future seller, that is a useful sign that the model’s reputation for practicality and low ownership costs still resonates with used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla safe?

The 2015 Corolla earns five-star ratings from NHTSA. It also received a Good rating in all IIHS assessments except for the small overlap frontal-impact test, in which the car rated Marginal.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota does not offer any newfangled active safety systems in the Corolla. There is no blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning, or automatic braking. A reversing camera is included for the LE trim level and above.

The main caveat is that the IIHS small overlap result is weaker than the rest of the crash-test picture, so you should not assume every crash scenario is equally well covered.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 44.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.07% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It balances reliable, sensible transportation with a bit more style and everyday enjoyment than pure utility.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,136, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $11,841 average.
• It emphasizes efficiency and long-term reliability.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $12,712, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $11,841 average.
• It focuses on strong value and a more eye-catching package.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right path if you want a well-rounded Corolla with strong value, solid ownership costs, and enough inventory to shop selectively. If price is your top priority, the 2014 is the cheaper alternative; if you want to spend more for a newer-year option, the 2016 is the next step up.

How does the 2015 Toyota Corolla compare to the 2015 Honda Civic?

Our experts score the 2015 Toyota Corolla 6.2/10 and the 2015 Honda Civic 8.7/10.

The Corolla leans harder into cost effectiveness, while the Civic comes across as the stronger all-around choice. The Corolla’s appeal is its lower average used price and better highway fuel economy, but the Civic offers more power and a higher expert score. If you want the cheaper, more value-focused pick, the Corolla makes sense; if you want the better-rounded compact car, the Civic is the stronger buy.
