Why it stands out
The 2015 Subaru Forester is a versatile and practical crossover that stands out in the competitive SUV market due to its blend of performance, comfort, and safety features. Following a refresh in 2014 that significantly improved its design and capability, the Forester continues to earn accolades, including recognition as a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS. It offers the option of a turbocharged engine for those seeking more power, and its symmetrical all-wheel drive ensures stability and control in various driving conditions. Moreover, the spacious interior makes it an ideal family car, although some critiques often center on the dated technology and infotainment system, which doesn’t measure up to some rivals. Overall, the Forester remains a solid choice for buyers looking for reliability and practicality in a crossover.

Reviewed a 2015 Subaru 2.5i Limited on Jun 11, 2014
After 10 years with my old car, I have been checking out what's on the market. I hadn't considered a Subaru until someone suggested how much their friend liked their new Forester. So, not expecting much, I test drove one, three times so far. I was very favorably impressed. For a SUV, handling was quite nimble but was still comfortable over rough roads, railroad tracks and the like, while remaining solid and quiet. The base 2.5i engine was more than adequate for my needs. The interior is very spacious and the visibility great. The front seats could be a little better, but that can be said about most of the small SUVs on the market, and the overall design and infotainment systems are a bit out of date, but I can forgive that since I value the driving aspects of the car more. Overall, it is a great value for the money, even at the higher trim levels. It's my choice when I trade cars later this summer.

This vehicle is a great fit for me and my lifestyle. Plenty of room, runs really well, the moon roof is fantastic.

I loved my 2015 Subaru Forester ! It was comfortable and we went everywhere in it. No mountain too tall. Unfortunately it was totaled. We were not hurt due to its safety features. I’m looking for another and possibly a 2016.

I drove several models, but the Subaru Forester had plenty of pep, and was a very smooth operating vehicle. I compared it to the VW Tiguan and the Nissan Rogue. Feature for feature the Forester is the best value for my dollar.
