How much does the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class cost?

Prices have softened 7.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 844 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class earns a 5/5 user rating, which is a strong sign that owners are highly satisfied with it. Owners consistently praise the luxurious features, smooth ride, and powerful performance, and they also highlight the high-quality interior and advanced technology. For you, that means this model fits especially well if you want a full-size luxury sedan that feels polished, upscale, and richly equipped. The market also shows 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its smooth ride, refined build quality, and trouble-free ownership experience. That kind of long-term confidence matters in a luxury sedan, where comfort and consistency are a big part of the appeal. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the car’s reputation and more about making sure the specific example has been maintained well and priced appropriately for its condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership history before you get too far into the process. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury sedan where repairs can be expensive if something has been overlooked. Focus closely on condition, maintenance records, and whether the car’s equipment and comfort features all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 844 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,474, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class's resale value?

The current average of $24,808 sits slightly below last year's $26,715.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your position when it comes time to resell. Strong owner satisfaction can also support demand, especially in a luxury model where reputation matters.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want a luxury sedan with strong owner approval and a softer used-car price environment. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2015 remains a compelling choice when you find a clean, well-kept example at the right number.
