How much does the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class cost?

Prices have softened 9.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 877 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the luxurious features, smooth ride, and powerful performance. They also highlight the high-quality interior and advanced technology, and many compare it favorably with ultra-luxury brands. In practical terms, that lines up well if you want a full-size luxury sedan that emphasizes comfort, innovation, and prestige.

With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable ownership experience centered on luxury, comfort, workmanship, and performance. The recurring praise for the car’s smooth ride and polished feel suggests that many buyers have found it easy to live with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the car’s appeal and more about making sure maintenance history and condition support the premium ownership experience you expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork quality, electronics, suspension behavior, and signs of deferred maintenance. Because this is a high-end luxury sedan, condition matters a lot more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 877 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,402, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class's resale value?

The current average of $24,424 sits slightly below last year's $26,853.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current softness may limit short-term appreciation, but it can also make the car easier to justify to future buyers if you purchase well. Strong condition and a clean history will matter a lot when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want a flagship luxury sedan with strong owner approval and a softer used-car price than it had a year ago. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2015 stands out as a compelling choice when you want luxury, technology, and value to line up.
