What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI QX60?

At 53.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has any accident record or incomplete service history. Focus on condition details that matter in a luxury family crossover: interior wear, electronics behavior, and how the drivetrain feels under normal acceleration. If the seller has maintenance records, that can help you judge whether the vehicle has been cared for consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The QX60’s appeal centers on its upscale cabin materials, flowing exterior design, and the way it blends style with simplicity. The base setup is less appealing if you want more convenience and tech, since the audio system drew criticism for lacking essential features like Bluetooth in the base model.
• Powertrain: It uses a 3.5-liter V6 with a CVT and 265 horsepower. The engine is described as refined and smooth-revving, and the CVT gained Enhanced D-Step Logic for 2015 to feel more like a traditional automatic under hard acceleration.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds a full suite of safety systems designed to prevent collisions. Standard stability control is part of the safety story, and the available systems include Distance Control Assist, Blind Spot Intervention, and Lane Departure Prevention.
• Infotainment: The QX60 can include Bluetooth streaming audio, voice recognition, a hard-drive navigation system, and a premium sound system. Infiniti Connection and InTouch Apps require the Premium Plus package, and the tech setup does not include Wi-Fi, rear USB ports, or Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test drive returned 18.9 mpg, while the official estimate cited was 23 mpg in combined driving.

• Deal availability: 31.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 496 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,542, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $9,569 sits slightly below last year's $10,231.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future depreciation a little easier to absorb if you buy at the right price. For a seller, the current trend means you should expect value to be shaped more by condition, mileage, and equipment than by broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable packages should still attract attention, but the softer pricing environment means you may need to be patient.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

The safety story centers on a suite of collision-avoidance technologies, including standard stability control and available Distance Control Assist, Blind Spot Intervention, and Lane Departure Prevention. The Technology Package adds a full suite of safety systems designed to prevent collisions, and Infiniti Connection can add automatic collision notification and emergency calling. A caveat worth noting is that some of these systems can be intrusive enough that drivers may want to switch them off.
