What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI QX60?

At 53% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with multiple owners. Focus on condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the technology and safety systems still operate as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The QX60’s appeal centers on its upscale cabin materials, tasteful wood trim, and silver and chrome accents, but the base model’s audio setup drew criticism for lacking Bluetooth. Higher equipment levels add more comfort and convenience, so you should pay close attention to feature gaps if you are comparing listings.
• Powertrain: It uses a 3.5-liter V6 with a continuously variable transmission and 265 horsepower. The engine is described as refined and smooth-revving, and the CVT gains Enhanced D-Step Logic for a more traditional feel under hard acceleration.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds a full suite of safety systems designed to prevent collisions. Standard stability control is part of the safety story, and the available driver-assistance systems can be tailored to your preferences.
• Infotainment: The system includes Bluetooth streaming audio, voice recognition, a hard-drive navigation system, and a premium sound system. The tech setup is practical, but the QX60 does not provide Wi-Fi Internet access, rear-seat USB ports, or Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert review reports 18.9 mpg in testing and cites an official 23 mpg combined estimate for the front-wheel-drive model.

Which 2015 INFINITI QX60 trim should I buy?

The Technology Package is the key safety-package note to look for, since it adds a full suite of collision-avoidance systems.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 INFINITI QX60?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 509 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,542, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 INFINITI QX60's resale value?

The current average of $9,565 sits slightly below last year's $10,183.

That decline suggests the market has softened, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favorable if you are planning to sell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that pricing discipline matters: a well-kept QX60 should still attract interest, but you may need to price it competitively to move it quickly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 INFINITI QX60 safe?

The 2015 INFINITI QX60 earns a 5-star overall crash-test rating from the NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick accolade from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety package includes standard stability control, optional Lane Departure Prevention, Distance Control Assist, Blind Spot Intervention, and automatic collision-notification service with an active Infiniti Connection subscription. The expert review also notes that these systems can be tailored to your preferences, which helps reduce the chance that you will disable them out of annoyance.

One caveat is that the more intrusive driver-assistance features may be easy to switch off, so you should verify that the systems you want are present and functioning properly on any used example you consider.

Should I buy a 2015 INFINITI QX60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert review says the QX60 impresses in style, simplicity, and the successful integration of useful infotainment and safety technologies.

The bottom line: If you want a stylish, well-equipped luxury crossover with strong safety credentials and a softer used-car price, the 2015 QX60 is the better path. If you are shopping strictly on value, you should still compare carefully against other years and individual listings, but the 2015 stands out as a sensible buy when you find one with clean history and the right equipment.
