How much does the 2015 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 3.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 427 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, strong performance, smooth handling, and stylish design. The overview also frames it as a flexible choice that can suit you as a comfortable all-weather performer, a tech-forward sedan, a fuel-efficient luxury car, or a sportier driver’s car.

That broad personality gives you room to shop for the version that fits your priorities, and the 27.4% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still some attractive listings in the market.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its luxury, performance, and features. The expert notes also describe it as mechanically likely to be durable and dependable, even if some shoppers may be wary of the car’s newer technology.

The ownership picture is helped by the fact that Infiniti addressed complaints from the prior model year, and the car’s maintenance story is not presented as especially burdensome. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the technology-heavy versions have been well cared for and still work as intended.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

At 42.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has advanced steering or driver-assist equipment. Pay close attention to cabin electronics, steering feel, tire wear, and signs of harder use, since the Q50’s personality changes a lot with equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base setup is positioned as the entry point, while the Premium trim adds more equipment and the Technology Package brings the driver-assist systems; the content also notes that leather seats are not standard on the Premium trim.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a 3.7-liter V6 with 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and multiple drive modes.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention, but it requires the Deluxe Touring Package first.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses Infiniti InTouch, InTouch Apps, and InTuition, with dual screens, a touch-sensitive upper display, and a lower touchscreen; the content also notes smartphone streaming and a control knob for the navigation screen.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert recorded 19.2 mpg during testing, short of the official 23-mpg combined estimate.

Which 2015 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 3 trim levels: Q50 3.7, Premium, and Q50S 3.7.

Here's the short version:

• Q50 3.7: This is the entry point, but the content makes clear that the base setup is light on standard equipment for the money, so it makes sense mainly if you want the lowest starting price and plan to keep expectations modest.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete luxury experience, since the content points to it as the step up buyers should consider for added equipment and a better overall ownership mix.
• Q50S 3.7: This is the choice if you want the sportiest setup, with upgraded brakes, sport-tuned suspension, and the performance wheel-and-tire package adding capability and sharper character.

For safety-related features, the Technology Package is the key add-on, but it requires the Deluxe Touring Package first.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 427 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 42.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,236, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $12,553 sits slightly below last year's $12,967.

That decline suggests the market has softened, which can make the car easier to buy now but less favorable if you are thinking about future resale. If you purchase at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 earns an Acceptable IIHS small overlap frontal-impact rating, and the front passenger gets a three-star rating in a frontal-impact collision from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention, and Infiniti says these systems can be turned on and off easily from the steering wheel. The catch is that you must first get the Deluxe Touring Package to access that package, so safety tech is not evenly spread across the lineup.

The main caveat is that the crash-test language points to room for improvement, so you should not assume every used example has the same protection or equipment level.

Should I buy a 2015 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 42.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers a broad mix of comfort, performance, technology, and efficiency depending on how you configure it.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,517, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $12,553 average.
• It introduces Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and technology direction in a fresh luxury sedan.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,319, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,553 average.
• It was improved to feel more like a legitimate luxury sports sedan.

The bottom line: If you want the broadest mix of value, availability, and personality, the 2015 is the balanced pick. If price matters most, the 2014 can save you money; if you want the more refined update, the 2016 is the better step up.

How does the 2015 INFINITI Q50 compare to the 2015 BMW 3 Series?

Our experts score the 2015 INFINITI Q50 7.3/10 and the 2015 BMW 3 Series 7.5/10.

The Q50 brings more power, a higher average used price, and a more performance-oriented personality, while the 3 Series is the more affordable and more efficient choice. The BMW also has a stronger deal share and accident-free share in the comparison data, which may make it easier to shop confidently. If you want the stronger engine and a more dramatic luxury-sport feel, the Q50 has the edge; if you want a lower entry price and better market availability, the 3 Series is the safer value play.
