How much does the 2015 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 13.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 575 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2015 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spaciousness, comfort, and practical features, and they also like the blend of luxury and utility that fits family hauling and everyday use. The overview also shows why it appeals if you want a full-size SUV with generous passenger and cargo room, especially in a truck-based layout. With 27.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value comfort and practicality over a more car-like feel. That said, used buyers should still plan for the usual long-term ownership risks that come with a large, older SUV, especially if maintenance history is incomplete.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 GMC Yukon XL?

At 55.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to body condition, alignment, suspension behavior, and signs of uneven wear. Because this is a large, truck-based SUV, you’ll want to focus on how well the vehicle has been maintained and whether it still feels tight and composed on the road.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 GMC Yukon XL?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 575 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,383, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $15,383 sits slightly below last year's $17,778.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For future resale, that also means your upside may depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance than on broad market appreciation. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because shoppers in this segment value space, comfort, and capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $17,087, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $15,383 average.
• It adds Apple CarPlay and more convenience and safety tech.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2015 is the stronger starting point. If you’re willing to pay more for newer tech and added convenience features, the 2016 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2015 makes the most sense when you find a clean example with strong maintenance records.
