CarGurus Analysis: 2015 Audi Q7

Summary
With 282 currently listed for sale and an average price of $10,853, 32.6% of 2015 Audi Q7 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Audi Q7 4.64 / 5 stars.
60.6% of 2015 Audi Q7 listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2015 Audi Q7 stands out as a three-row luxury SUV that blends everyday drivability with Audi’s clean, upscale design. It was built for pavement use with some light-duty off-roading, and it offered responsive handling along with standard quattro all-wheel drive. Buyers also got a choice of V6 or V8 power, plus an available adaptive air suspension that could improve ride and handling.
Inside, the Q7’s appeal came from its practical layout and premium feel. It had seven seats, and the front and second rows were comfortable, while the third row was best suited to children. Cargo space was generous when the rear seats were folded, and the cabin could be equipped with features such as Bluetooth wireless music streaming and, on some versions, a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. The model’s technology was not especially advanced by modern standards, but it did gain a more usable infotainment setup over time.
For shoppers, the 2015 Q7’s strengths are its refined road manners, luxury atmosphere, and strong available performance. Its drawbacks are also clear: premium fuel is required, maintenance costs can be high, and the V8 engines are notably thirsty. Even so, for buyers who want a comfortable, capable used luxury SUV with real presence and a well-built interior, the 2015 Audi Q7 remains distinctive.

Very comfortable and many great options. I am a rather large Audi fan and would recommend this to anyone looking for a luxury 7 seater. With that being said, repairs in this class are not cheap. Really not cheap! Either buy it with a complete warranty or keep $5k in a savings account for when something may break. For example, rotors and pads alone, just the parts, is close to $1k. Its the cost of ownership that stops me from giving it 5 stars. A wise man once said, if you cant afford to buy it new, you probably cant afford to drive it used.

Sharp car’s features. The car was somewhat pricey but excellent condition. Had all the bells and whistles, nothing missing. Haven’t checked out any other models therefore no comparison that’s why I gave it that rating. Great car. I recommend it to anyone wanting to buy one.

The most amazing 5 year old SUV out there, especially the TDI, which was the Q7s, last year to offer a diesel, The Q7s interior is splendid, but most are ruined in black, which I dislike immensely for lack of all contrast and definition. It handles like a sports car and is supremely satisfying to drive. The 2015 model was the last of the truly good looking Q7s. The 2017 models are just plain ugly, a vain attempt to improve a beautiful design. The 2015 Audi Q7 is in a class all its own. Plenty of these have fewer than 40K miles so dont get in a hurry and compromise on high mileage. Ignore all negative comments and double all the positive ones on this car. You will love it!

Very smooth ride. Just floats down the road. Main controls take a bit of getting used to since they are on the center console rather than near the display screen. Would have preferred to see USB ports rather than standard 12V charging ports. One downfall is the required use of Premium gas.

How much does the 2015 Audi Q7 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $10,840 |
| Year-Round Low | $10,725 |
| Year-Round High | $11,870 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $11,876 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.73% |
Prices have softened 8.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 276 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2015 Audi Q7 a good car?
Yes — the 4.64/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, luxury feel, and powerful performance, and many also highlight the well-built interior and strong driving experience. In practical terms, that makes it a good fit if you want a three-row luxury SUV with everyday drivability, premium cabin appeal, and enough capability for light-duty use. There are 32.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2015 Audi Q7 reliable?
Owners rate it 4.64/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling driving experience, with repeated praise for the smooth ride and strong performance that many buyers can count on over time. At the same time, the same reviews flag maintenance costs and premium fuel as ownership realities, so long-term risk for used buyers is less about basic satisfaction and more about keeping up with higher running costs.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Audi Q7?
At 59.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of uneven wear, repair quality, or deferred maintenance. Because this is a premium SUV, you should focus on overall condition and service history, not just mileage or asking price.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Audi Q7?
This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.
- Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 276 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.73% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 59.8% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $10,725, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Audi Q7's resale value?
The current average of $10,840 sits slightly below last year's $11,876.
That kind of price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q7 more attractive to you as a buyer but less favorable if you're planning to sell soon. If you own one for a few years, resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, maintenance records, and how well the vehicle presents against other used luxury SUVs in the market. Stronger examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially because buyers in this segment tend to be picky about upkeep and overall appearance.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2015 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 59.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.73% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2015 is the primary year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you can also compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
