Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The least expensive version comes with a rear-view camera, keyless push-button ignition, Jewel Eye LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and a dual-screen infotainment system. The Technology Package adds softer perforated leather upholstery, navigation, premium audio, AcuraLink services, rain-sensing wipers, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward-collision warning. The Advance Package adds front and rear parking sensors, remote engine start, LED puddle and fog lights, auto-dimming side mirrors, adaptive cruise control, road-departure warning, and collision-mitigation braking. The Technology Package is the best-value upgrade if you want the biggest jump in everyday convenience and safety.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder with 206 hp or an available 3.5-liter V6 with 290 hp. The 4-cylinder is the more efficient choice, while the V6 is the stronger pick if you want quicker acceleration.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 450 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 50.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,188, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $13,607 sits slightly below last year's $13,912.

That softer pricing suggests the TLX is in a buyer-friendly phase right now, which can make it harder for a future seller to command a premium unless the car is especially clean and well equipped. If you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect its value better than the average listing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Acura TLX safe?

The 2015 Acura TLX earns the IIHS Top Safety Pick rating.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

The Technology Package adds lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward-collision warning. The Advance Package adds road-departure and collision-mitigation braking technology, which can automatically apply the brakes if needed.

That safety content is a major strength, especially if you’re comparing the TLX with other used luxury sedans. If you want the most protection, prioritize a car with the Technology or Advance Package.

Should I buy a 2015 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.20% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines rewarding driving dynamics with extensive safety technology and a more appealing price point.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,721, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,607 average.
• Acura positions it as a performance luxury sedan with a clearer identity.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2015 is the smarter starting point because it offers strong safety, solid owner satisfaction, and a lower average price. If you’re willing to spend more for the next model year’s broader performance-luxury positioning, the 2016 is the alternative to compare.
