How much does the 2014 Toyota Sienna cost?

There are 1,065 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — 4.67/5. It earns an expert rating of 6.67/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Form and function and Cost effectiveness.

The 2014 Sienna is aimed at buyers who value utility and functionality, and it leans into that mission with a spacious, family-friendly cabin and a strong emphasis on passenger comfort. The Limited’s second-row lounge-style captain’s chairs are a standout for long trips, while the overall package is practical rather than flashy.

31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The expert review points to favorable dependability expectations, and the cost-effectiveness notes say the Sienna earned an award for dependability in the latest J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study. It also notes that Consumer Reports expects reliability to be better than average.

Toyota includes free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership, which helps soften early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the van was maintained well, since a family hauler can accumulate hard miles quickly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Toyota Sienna?

At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the van has been used as a daily family shuttle. Focus on wear items that matter in a minivan: brakes, suspension, tires, sliding-door operation, and signs of heavy interior use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Sienna L is the most affordable entry point, while the LE adds upgraded exterior trim, dark tinted rear privacy glass, power sliding side doors, rear bumper protection, upgraded easy-clean fabric, an 8-way power driver seat, manual window sunshades for the second and third rows, and triple-zone automatic climate control. The Limited adds the most comfort and convenience, including second-row lounge-style captain’s chairs, Smart Key passive entry with push-button start, a premium audio system, and driver-assistance features that are not mentioned for the lower trims.
• Powertrain: Every 2014 Sienna uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 266 hp and 245 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic. The review says it feels strong, responsive, and easy to merge with, and all-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: The Limited includes Blind-Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Safety Connect with Automatic Collision Notification. It also offers Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and a Pre-Collision System on the available Advanced Technology Package. Lower trims do not get the same safety content.
• Infotainment: The Limited’s tech is described as dated in screen size and resolution, but it does include a DVD player, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a navigation system on the available package. The review does not mention wireless smartphone integration or over-the-air updates.
• Fuel efficiency: The review cites 21 mpg in combined driving from the EPA estimate and 19.3 mpg in the reviewer’s testing.

Which 2014 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2014 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, SE, XLE.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Sienna lineup and do not need the added convenience features found higher up.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the biggest everyday upgrades, including power sliding doors, triple-zone climate control, upgraded seating, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a reversing camera.
• SE: Choose this if you want the sportier setup, with sport-tuned suspension and steering, 19-inch wheels, fog lights, and a more aggressive look.
• XLE: This is the comfort-focused step up, adding leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power sunroof, automatic headlights, and upgraded exterior trim.

The Limited trim adds the most advanced safety and comfort equipment, including Blind-Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and second-row lounge-style captain’s chairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right van.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,065 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,489, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $13,011 sits slightly below last year's $13,282.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than on broad market appreciation.

Because the Sienna is a practical family vehicle, clean examples with strong records should remain easier to move than neglected ones. If you keep the van in good shape, you are more likely to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2014 Sienna earns a three-star crash protection rating for the front-seat passenger in a frontal-impact crash from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Sienna includes a Blind-Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, front and rear parking sensors, a panoramic reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, Safety Connect with Automatic Collision Notification, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and a Pre-Collision System that tightens the seat belts and prepares the brakes when a collision is detected.

A key shortcoming is that Toyota reserves some of the best safety equipment for the most expensive versions, and the review also calls out the lack of Lane-Departure Warning.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 offers strong utility, a roomy cabin, and available lounge-style second-row seating in the Limited.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $15,684, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $13,011 average.
• It brings broader upgrades across the lineup, especially in safety.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the smarter buy because pricing is softer and inventory is healthy. If you can spend more for a newer version, the 2015 is the better path for shoppers who want the most improved Sienna.
