Used 2014 Nissan Maxima for Sale nearGarland, TX

How much does the 2014 Nissan Maxima cost?

Prices have softened 4.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 141 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Nissan Maxima a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Nissan Maxima earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its stylish design, comfortable interior, and impressive power, and many also like the smooth ride and handling. For you, that makes it a compelling choice if you want a used sedan with a premium feel, plenty of features, and a more engaging driving character than many mainstream alternatives. With 23.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Nissan Maxima reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with comments highlighting comfort, smooth driving, and overall satisfaction over time. Some drivers do mention transmission concerns, so you should pay close attention to how the car drives and shifts during a test drive. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable, but a careful inspection matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan Maxima?

At 48.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for the transmission and rear handling behavior that owners have flagged. Focus on overall condition, service records, and how the car feels on the road, since those details matter more when nearly half of listings have accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan Maxima?

This is a moderate market for selective shoppers, so you can buy now if you find the right combination of price and condition.

• Deal availability: 23.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 48.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $7,586, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan Maxima's resale value?

The current average of $7,648 sits slightly below last year's $8,027.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can help you if you're shopping now but may limit upside if you're planning to resell soon. Still, the Maxima's strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it's time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan Maxima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 23.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2014 if you want a well-equipped, stylish sedan with strong owner approval and you can verify condition carefully. If you're especially price-sensitive, this year can still make sense because the market has softened and there are some good deals available, but you should be selective and prioritize clean history and solid inspection results.
