Is the 2014 Nissan 370Z a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Nissan 370Z earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2014 Nissan 370Z reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car people tend to trust for enjoyable, trouble-free ownership, with praise centered on its dependable performance and lasting appeal. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger long-term risk is less about the car’s core character and more about finding one that has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Nissan 370Z?

At 53.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of hard use, since sports cars can be more likely to show wear from enthusiastic driving. It also helps to pay close attention to the cabin and cargo area, because owner feedback notes that space is limited and condition matters when you want the car to feel worth the money.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Nissan 370Z?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,160, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Nissan 370Z's resale value?

The current average of $17,625 sits slightly below last year's $18,258.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the car more approachable for you now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy a well-kept example at the right price so you have less depreciation left to absorb. Strong enthusiast demand can help support values, especially for cars that are clean, well maintained, and appealing to shoppers who want a focused sports coupe.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Nissan 370Z or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the 370Z’s core formula at a softened price, the 2014 is a sensible place to shop, especially if you can find a clean, well-documented example. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained car rather than the newest badge, since condition and history matter more than small model-year differences here.
