Used 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA cost?

Prices have softened 12.61% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 270 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA earns a 4.88/5 user rating and a 5.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its stylish design, sporty handling, fuel efficiency, reliability, and quick acceleration. That lines up with the overview’s framing of this car as a starter luxury sedan that delivers strong style and broader appeal than its compact footprint suggests. You also get a premium-brand entry point that feels more practical and more capable than many shoppers expect.

Only 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to reliability and a trouble-free ownership experience as part of the appeal, alongside the car’s strong performance and efficiency. The expert notes also describe the fuel-economy numbers as realistic, which supports the idea that the car can be dependable in day-to-day use. At the same time, this is a first-year model with a new drivetrain, so long-term ownership risk is still something you should weigh carefully when buying used.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

At 50% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a close inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and any signs of prior repair. Because visibility is a known challenge in this car, it also makes sense to check that the camera and driver-assistance equipment you want are actually present and functioning. Focus on condition and equipment level rather than assuming every CLA has the same feature set.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base car can feel sparse, with missing items such as leather seats, wood trim, automatic climate control, a premium sound system, a reversing camera, blind-spot assist, and lane-keeping assist unless you move into option packages.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 208 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission; front-wheel drive is standard, and 4Matic all-wheel drive is available.
• Safety package: The standard equipment list includes rain-sensing wipers, Attention Assist, and basic Collision Prevention Assist, while reversing camera, blind-spot assist, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, and Collision Prevention Assist Plus require additional packages.
• Infotainment: The car uses a Becker MapPilot navigation system, Bluetooth hands-free calling with text-message support, and a USB port; the interface can be unintuitive and the screen is described as tacked-on.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA combined figure is 27 mpg, and the test car returned 26.4 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA trim should I buy?

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA is offered in 1 trim level: CLA250.

Here's the short version:

The CLA250 is the only trim, so your decision is really about how much equipment you want to add. It delivers the core appeal of the car: strong style, a turbocharged engine, and the premium-brand experience. If you want the best value, focus on a well-equipped example that includes the options you care about most, especially the visibility and safety upgrades.

The safety-package note matters here: reversing camera, blind-spot assist, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic braking upgrades are not standard, so check the build carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 270 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.61% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 50.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,584, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA's resale value?

The current average of $10,584 sits slightly below last year's $12,112.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right number. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you reduce the amount of value left to lose. The flip side is that a car with a softer market can take longer to resell unless it is clean, well-equipped, and priced competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA safe?

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety equipment includes rain-sensing wipers, Attention Assist, and basic Collision Prevention Assist. However, the car’s visibility is a known weakness, and key driver-assistance features such as a reversing camera, blind-spot assist, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, and Collision Prevention Assist Plus are not standard. That means you should verify exactly which safety packages are installed on any used example you consider.

Should I buy a 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 model is described as roomier, more practical, more stylish, and more capable than expected, which broadens its appeal beyond pure image.

The bottom line: If you want the lowest-cost path into this generation of CLA, the 2014 can make sense because prices have eased and the car still has strong owner approval. If you’re shopping more carefully, prioritize a clean-history example with the options you want, since the feature gaps and accident exposure make condition and equipment especially important.
