Used 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 587 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a 4.85/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 10/10 across Technology and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise its engaging performance, stylish interior, great handling, fuel efficiency, and comfortable ride. That lines up with the overview’s emphasis on a car that works well in traffic and on a favorite back road, while still offering a broad range of body styles and equipment choices. The market also shows 34.6% good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.85/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, with drivers repeatedly highlighting its engaging performance, comfortable ride, and fuel efficiency. The expert review also describes it as an exceptionally engineered car with mechanical components that rarely call attention to themselves, which supports the impression of trouble-free day-to-day use. The cost-effectiveness commentary adds that the model is expected to deliver better-than-average reliability over time.

Maintenance costs can still be a concern, so a used example with incomplete service records deserves extra scrutiny. For long-term ownership, you should focus on documented upkeep and avoid cars that show signs of deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Mazda MAZDA3?

At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on bodywork quality, electronics, and signs of wear that could affect long-term ownership costs. Because owner feedback mentions missing features and maintenance concerns, it also makes sense to compare condition carefully across listings rather than shopping on price alone.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 3i Touring adds aluminum wheels, heated side mirrors, keyless passive entry with push-button start, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, while the 3i Grand Touring adds leatherette upholstery, a power driver’s seat, and heated front seats. The 3s models bring more power, bigger wheels and tires, bi-Xenon headlights, LED lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Bose audio system, and Mazda Connect, with Grand Touring versions adding genuine perforated leather seats, a power sunroof, automatic headlights, an Adaptive Front Lighting System, and rain-sensing wipers.
• Powertrain: The 3i models use a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque, while the 3s models use a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder with 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque. The 3i is the better value if you want strong efficiency and enough punch for everyday driving, while the 3s suits you if you want more power and a standard automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are standard on the 3i Touring, while the 3i Grand Touring adds a reversing camera and E911 Automatic Emergency Notification service. The 3s Touring includes those features, and the 3s Grand Touring adds rain-sensing wipers, an Adaptive Front Lighting System, Lane Departure Warning, and Smart City Brake Support.
• Infotainment: Mazda Connect uses a 7-inch touchscreen with a center-console control dial, and it includes text-messaging capability, E911 service, Aha, Pandora, Stitcher, mobile Wi-Fi access, and smartphone integration. Higher trims or option packages are needed for features like navigation and the Bose premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Sedan is rated at 32 to 34 mpg in combined driving, while the 5-Door is expected to return 31 to 33 mpg. The expert review also notes that owners should be able to easily extract better than 30 mpg in real-world use.

Which 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 trim should I buy?

The 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 is offered in 4 trim levels: SV, Sport, Touring, Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the most basic choice, so it makes sense if you want the lowest entry point and can live without the added convenience and safety equipment found higher up the range.
• Sport: This is the value-minded pick if you want a simple Mazda 3 with the core driving character and a lower price than the better-equipped trims.
• Touring: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds keyless entry, push-button start, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and access to several desirable upgrades.
• Grand Touring: Choose this if you want the most upscale version, with leatherette or leather seating, more comfort features, and the fullest technology and safety equipment available.

Safety-related options are concentrated in the higher trims, and some features remain unavailable on the base models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Mazda MAZDA3?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards comparison shopping more than impulse buying.

If you find a listing below $9,637, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $10,168 sits slightly above last year's $10,129.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern is helpful because it points to predictable demand and less risk of a sudden value drop. The model’s broad appeal, plus its reputation for strong owner satisfaction, should help it remain easy to market when you decide to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.85/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 safe?

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety content highlights Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a reversing camera, E911 Automatic Emergency Notification service, Lane Departure Warning, and Smart City Brake Support, depending on trim. Rear parking assist sensors are also offered for any model. Higher trims get the most complete safety equipment, so you should pay close attention to trim level if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.85/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert review says the redesigned 2014 Mazda 3 looks appealing and drives exceptionally well.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $11,087, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $10,168 average.
• It adds a more upscale feel and stronger all-around refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the better price and a stable market, the 2014 is the smarter starting point. If you can spend more and want a slightly more polished-feeling follow-up year, the 2015 is worth a look. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2014 offers the stronger value case.
