Used 2014 Mazda CX-9 for Sale nearAllentown, PA

How much does the 2014 Mazda CX-9 cost?

Prices have softened 11.05% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 229 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Mazda CX-9 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The overview describes it as a three-row crossover that prioritizes driving enjoyment, with sharper handling than many rivals, an upscale cabin, and a more polished feel than a typical family hauler. It also stands out for strong safety performance, while still offering practical SUV utility. The market shows 28.8% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Mazda CX-9 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a vehicle that combines upscale presentation with a fun-to-drive character, while also noting some tradeoffs in powertrain smoothness and infotainment age. For used buyers, that means reliability concerns are less about a single headline issue and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained well and still feels solid in everyday use. Long-term ownership risk is best managed by focusing on condition, service history, and how well the drivetrain and electronics still perform.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Mazda CX-9?

At 58.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can screen for accidents, title issues, and major repairs before you spend time on a test drive. Put extra inspection priority on body condition, alignment, and signs of uneven wear, since those can reveal past damage or poor repairs. Because the CX-9 is described as having an uneven powertrain and dated infotainment, make sure both the drivetrain feel and cabin electronics work the way you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Mazda CX-9?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 229 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $8,648, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Mazda CX-9's resale value?

The current average of $8,678 sits slightly below last year's $9,757.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale gains harder unless the vehicle is especially clean and well maintained. If you buy at a strong price and keep the SUV in excellent condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Mazda CX-9 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the more engaging, upscale-feeling version of the CX-9 and you can verify condition carefully, the 2014 is a solid primary choice. If your priority is simply finding the lowest entry price, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than the model year alone.
