Used 2014 Lexus IS for Sale nearNaples, FL

How much does the 2014 Lexus IS cost?

Prices have softened 3.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 584 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2014 Lexus IS a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise the sleek design, luxurious interior, and strong performance. You also get recurring positives around the comfortable front seats and sporty driving experience, which fit the car’s role as a compact luxury sedan with a sporty edge. For you, that means the 2014 IS makes the most sense if you want a premium-feeling sedan that favors style and driving enjoyment over rear-seat space. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Lexus IS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to overall quality and day-to-day dependability. The main cautions in the reviews are lower-trim power and some road noise, but those are more comfort-and-feel concerns than signs of major trouble. For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk looks manageable if you focus on maintenance history and overall condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Lexus IS?

At 43% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of bodywork, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, or suspension issues that could hint at past repairs. Because the back seat is tight and the car is aimed more at front-seat comfort and sporty driving, make sure the cabin, seats, and road manners match your expectations before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Lexus IS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 43.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,693, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Lexus IS's resale value?

The current average of $16,006 sits slightly below last year's $16,657.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current trend means your upside will depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance than on broad market appreciation. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers looking for a stylish luxury sedan with a strong reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Lexus IS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 43% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $17,148, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $16,006 average.
• It emphasizes driving enjoyment and refinement with a more engaging personality.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2014 if you want the lower average price and strong owner satisfaction. If you can stretch your budget and want a slightly newer alternative with a more driver-focused personality, the 2015 is the better secondary path.
