How much does the 2014 Lexus GS cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 321 listings available, which gives you a moderate amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2014 Lexus GS a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Lexus GS earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfortable ride, impressive sound system, and stylish design, and many also highlight its reliability, safety, and resale value. With 33.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2014 Lexus GS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers frequently describe it as reliable and dependable, and the feedback also points to a trouble-free ownership experience for many buyers. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used luxury sedan you can count on.

For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about how well a specific example has been maintained over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Lexus GS?

At 48.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and confirm whether the car has had prior damage, title issues, or repeated repairs. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if the car has incomplete service records or signs of cosmetic or structural repair. Focus closely on overall condition, because the best used example will be the one with clean history and consistent maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Lexus GS?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $15,475, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Lexus GS's resale value?

The current average of $15,916 sits slightly below last year's $15,931.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help future sellers because values are not swinging sharply. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you may be able to preserve more of its value when it is time to sell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Lexus GS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 48.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used luxury sedan with strong owner satisfaction and a stable price profile, the 2014 is a sensible primary choice. If your top priority is stretching your budget, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the cleanest history and best condition at the lowest price.
